New York – 2017

New York – 2017

This year our trip to NY started in Manhattan for five days and then we drove to Montauk (my favorite place ever) for a few days, and we love acting like tourists now that we don’t live in NY anymore. It’s fantastic that we are exploring more of NY now that we don’t live there.

If you would like to see where and what we are while in NY.

We took a horse and carriage ride through Central Park – A must if you are visiting Manhattan.

We rented a rowboat in Central Park which was fun.

Pretty Christmas Tree at the New York Palace Hotel

The food was OK I wouldn’t recommend it. My favorite steakhouse is The Old Homestead 🙂

Montauk – We rented a cottage at Gurney’s Resort

Deep Hollow Ranch – Oldest Cattle Ranch in the USA

The best drink stirrers EVER!!!

The coolest tree-lined home in East Hampton on Further Lane

Whenever we are in Montauk we always eat at Zum Schneider

We order the Pork Shank – It is delicious!!

We also always stop at John’s Drive-In and get soft ice cream, of course, I had to have chocolate one day and vanilla the next. I am an ice cream JUNKIE!!!!

Leaving Montauk and driving back to the city we always stop at another favorite spot it’s in Poxabogue. Make sure you order the BLT it is the best we have ever had!

Show at Melbourne International Airport – Our friend Jerry from New York was visiting so we decided to take him to an air show which we love, and it was once again amazing.

While we were at the Air show they had a Ferrari that you could take a ride in for $150 so we decided to buy a ride for this young man Named Justin that was there. He loved it!!!

Nantucket, Massachusetts

August 03, 2010
Today John surprised me by chartering a private jet that Vanna White used to own and proposed to me on the plane before we took off for Nantucket, Massachusetts. We got a day room at The Jared Coffin House which was a charming Bed & Breakfast. We grabbed a bite to eat at The Rose & Crown Pub. After exploring the island and having a nice lunch and a great dinner at The White Elephant which was fabulous we headed back to the airport and flew back to NY. It was a fantastic day. I’ve never been on a private jet, and I can tell you this much I loved it loved it I can get used to that kind of life.

August 19, 2013
John and I decided to charter the same private jet that Vanna White used to own once again and took our friends and my mother in law to Nantucket. We got a day room at The Jared Coffin House and had lunch at Cru Oyster Bar, and we had a fabulous lobster roll and then walked around town until we had to go back to the hotel to get ready for dinner. We had dinner at a small restaurant (I forgot the name of it) and headed to the airport to fly back to NY.

Fort Pierce, Florida

We own a condo in Ft. Pierce so here are a few pictures of that area. One great thing about Fort Pierce is that the Navy Seals started there so make sure you check out the Navy Seal Museum.

If you would like to see what and where we ate while in Ft. Pierce.

Telluride, Colorado

January 24th – 30th, 2016

Today we arrive in Telluride, Colorado and we immediately fell in love with the town. It’s everything I always thought a ski town would be. We checked into the fantastic Inn at Lost Creek which was located in a great spot. One day while walking through the lobby we ended up meeting the star of all stars TOM CRUISE. We spoke to him for a few minutes, and he couldn’t be nicer the only thing that we regret is that we didn’t get a picture with him.

Telluride is a great town for families with kids. Right by our hotel, they have an ice skating rink and a lot of restaurants and shopping which is one of my favorite things to do 🙂

John and I skied every day it was great skiing, and at the end of skiing we would go to the mid-mountain bar and have a beer with the sun shining on us. A great time was had!

Maria & John – Ughh I don’t like this picture but let’s face it I can’t only post the best pics.

Park City, Utah

January 10th – 16th, 2016
Today we drove from Jackson Hole to Park City, Utah and we met up with our friends Nano and Mariya they flew in from Washington State. We had a great week with them I didn’t ski at all John, and Nano skied every day. Mariya and I had fun just hanging out, and we met up with John and Nano for lunch every day. There was only one day I skied, and it was at Deer Valley which was nice because it’s a ski only mountain no snowboarders.
