Today we took the shuttle into town and went to the library to see the Book of Kells. Afterward, we walked to Temple bar and took a quick picture of that bar and then we met up with some of the crew. Skip was also there and he works with Kallati Jewelers and he plays the ukulele. Skip decided to entertain us all and he sang some Irish folk songs. He was Fantastic the bar filled up and people were singing with him.

Today we grabbed a taxi and he drove us to the Game of Thrones filming spots as well as some other cool places. The first stop on the tour was to the Carrickfergus Castle, the next stop was the Giant’s Causeway which was really pretty. The next stop was to see the Stones The third stop was this really cool tree-lined street called The Dark Hedges the next stop was the big caves.

We then drove to Glenarm Castle which had a really big and beautiful garden. We grabbed a bite to eat from a food truck and it was really good. The second to last stop was the Knockagh Monument for a cool panoramic city view. The last stop was at the Game of Thrones Experience which was pretty cool. We have never even watched one episode but John and I are going to binge-watch them when we get back home.

Today John, Mason and I got a taxi and he drove us to the Conwy Castle in Wales. The town was really cool we walked around a bit and did some shopping and we decided to eat fish and chips in one of the restaurants.

Afterward, the driver took us to this really cool victorian style town we just drove around there. The next stop was at the world-famous Cavern Club in Liverpool where the Beatles played 100’s of times. The last stop was at the largest cathedral in Europe which is called Liverpool Cathedral.

Today we grabbed a taxi and he drove to the Salisbury cathedral. Afterward, we went to Stonehenge which was pretty cool. The last stop on the tour was Winchester Cathedral which was amazing. We got a private tour of the crypt which was wild.

Today we took a wine tour with Henri and new friends we met while on the ship. The first vineyard we visited was Chateau Mouton Rothschild, The second one was Chateau Gruaud Larose and the last one was Chateau Ferriere.

Bilbao, Spain

Today we docked in Bilbao and we loved it.

This is now our new favorite place in Spain. We would totally rent an Air Bnb here for a few weeks. We decided to walk along the river where the Guggenheim Museum is and there were some street performers there and some artists selling their work. It was really a pleasant walk. Afterward, we walked back to the shuttle to drive back to the port.

Today our friend Martin who is from Miami moved to La Coruna so he met us at the pier. We decided to take a tour of the town which lasted about 2 hours after that we went and had a nice lunch.

Today John and I took the shuttle into town where we walked around a bit and took the famous flat bottom boat tour of the six bridges.

Afterward, we did a port wine tasting because this is where the port wine comes from.

Today we got a really good taxi driver named Carlos Manuel who spoke perfect English and showed us a great time. We visited the Metropolitan Cathedral of St. Mary Major. At first, we visited Sintra which was a really nice town we got a chance to take a tour of the Palace of Pena and the next stop was Cascais and Estoril where all the rich and famous have homes. Cascais was a really nice beachside town.

Afterward, Carlos dropped us off about a block away from the ship where there was a festival in the town.

Today Carlos picked us up again and drove us to Fatima. It’s equivalent to St. Peter’s Square in Vatican City. The pope visits Fatima once a year.

after visiting the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Fatima make sure to stop by Store #37 which is owned by Mr. Sergio. He has great prices for souvenirs.

Seville (Cadiz), Spain

June 10, 2019

Today we decided to take a Taxi to Seville and visited the horse training school called the Royal Andalusian School of Equestrian Art. We saw the Andalusian horses with their trainers getting ready for a show. These horses are amazing and very talented.

Afterwards, the driver took us back to the ship where we met up with our friend who is the Food and Beverage Director for Oceania luckily the ship he was on which was the Riviera and both ships happened to be at the same port together.
